How to generate AI music tracks using the Finetuning.ai app
Overview
The Create page is where you generate AI music tracks. Each generation costs 1 credit and produces a unique track based on your input.
Prompt
The prompt field is the main way to describe the music you want. Write a comma-separated description of the style, mood, and instruments.
chill, lofi, rainy day, acoustic guitar, mellowTips for better prompts:
- Be specific about mood and genre — "dark ambient drone" works better than just "ambient"
- Mention instruments you want to hear — "acoustic guitar, soft piano, vinyl crackle"
- Describe the feel or scene — "late night drive", "rainy day coffee shop"
- Combine multiple descriptors — "upbeat, funk, slap bass, wah guitar, groovy"
Enhance
Click the Enhance button to let the AI improve and expand your prompt automatically. This can help if you're not sure how to describe what you want.
Lyrics
Toggle Include lyrics to add vocals to your track. When disabled, the track will be Instrumental only.
If enabled, you can write your own lyrics that the AI will incorporate into the generated track.
Tags
Use tags to further guide the generation. Tags are organized into categories:

You can select multiple tags across categories. Tags work alongside your prompt to shape the output.
Presets
Quick Create presets are pre-configured templates that fill in the prompt, tags, and settings for you. Select a preset to get started quickly:
- Lo-Fi Chill — Relaxed lo-fi beats
- Upbeat Ad — Energetic commercial music
- Cinematic — Epic orchestral and film score
- Corporate — Clean, professional background music
- Dreamy Pop — Soft, atmospheric pop
- Dark Trap — Heavy bass, dark mood
Presets are a starting point — you can customize any of the settings after selecting one.
Advance Settings
Expand Advance Settings to fine-tune your generation:

| Key & Scale | Musical key (C, C#, D, etc.) and scale (major/minor) |
| Time Signature | Time signature (2–7, default 4/4) |
| Language | Language for vocals (en, ja, de, fr, es, zh, ko, pt, it, ru) |
| Seed | Number for reproducibility — same seed + same settings = consistent results |
Generating
Click Finetune it to start generating. The track will appear in your Library once complete. Generation typically takes 15–30 seconds.
